U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary Flotilla 11 - Bellingham, WA

New National Leadership Elected for 2026–2028

The Coast Guard Auxiliary has chosen its national leadership for the next two years. On August 21, at the Auxiliary National Training Event in Orlando, Fla., the National Bridge elected:

  • National Commodore (NACO): COMO Patrick Feighery
  • Vice National Commodore (VNACO): COMO John Krogmann
  • Deputy National Commodore, Atlantic Area East and Operations: COMO Michael Klacik
  • Deputy National Commodore, Atlantic Area West and Mission Support: COMO Mark Villeneuve
  • Deputy National Commodore, Pacific Area and Recreational Boating Safety: COMO Curtis Han

The Deputy National Commodore for Information Technology and Planning has not yet been named.

The new team takes office on November 1, 2026, succeeding National Commodore Mary Kirkwood and her bridge.

For Flotilla 11, the Pacific Area seat is the one to watch. COMO Han will represent the Pacific Area, which includes our Northwest District, and will also oversee the national Recreational Boating Safety program. That's the program behind our vessel safety checks, program visits and public education classes.

Please join us in thanking Commodore Kirkwood and her team for their service, and in welcoming the new national bridge.
